Attracting Attention
Everyone has their own method of attracting attention. Quite obviously, some of these methods work fanastically, some work horribly and some work occasionally.

First, let's talk about those who are excellent in attracting other's attention. Such people tend to have a lot of friends and are usually in or in charge of the major cliques in schools. This is because they tend to sacrifice themselves during the first few days of school by doing or saying things that make everyone in class laugh. Most of the time, such actions are big and stupid ( no offence!) but as long as its funny, no one cares about it. And if they've succeeded in making everyone else laugh, other's will willingly walk up and make friends with you. This is because they feel that their life will be a lot more livelier and that there will always be someone to cheer you up in times of need. Therefore, having the ability to attract attention SUCCESSFULLY is a good thing. Sadly, not many people get to enjoy the above benefits because...

Secondly, there are (not surprisingly) people who cannot gain other's attention no matter what they do. Some of these people do the strangest things and the response they receive is no more that a "LOL". I pity such people. I really do. Even though sometimes I feel like slapping their face and asking them to shut up, I DO pity them. Contrary to what you are thinking now, I am not mean. I do not regard with disdain those who fail to gain the spotlight because sometimes, this is also the case for me. Anyway, back to the main point. I think such people should know that they could be more annoying than they thought and probably find something else to do as YOU COULD BE DESTINED FOR GREATER THINGS than making friends.

In 'pre-conclusion', i'm telling myself to shut up.

Finally, people who can SOMETIMES get people's attention...

In conclusion, to those who CAN make others laugh and make friends easily, GOOD FOR YOU!
To those who can't (including me), all the best.
